As #BlackBirdersWeek2021 comes to an end, I want to thank everyone who followed, liked, shared, commented or connected in some way. This week has been equally exhausting and exciting. The final theme, #BirdsOfAFeather. For me and many of you, this expression signifies community. Though I am still seeking a personal flock in Wyoming, I’m continually building professional relationships with organizations in Lander. Over the last year, I’ve watched my photos gain notable attention and reach global audiences. As amazing as this continues to be, having my work displayed in my own community is heartwarming.
We’ve been working on this project for months and I’m honored and excited to announce my first photography art exhibit, at the Sinks Canyon State Park Visitor’s Center. They just opened for the season, so stop by and check out some of Lander’s featured backyard birds. ❤️🐦📸
